Educator's Review: The Gentleman is a game that will challenge how you think about locked doors. Combining locked door challenges, where the player must figure out how to get the key that will open the door to the next level, with gravity-defying platform jumping, this game provides a different challenge on each level. Although each level uses skills learned in previous levels, no solution is ever exactly the same so you really have to be creative. Some levels require exact timing, and some require the player to be patient until the door is ready to open. While challenging, each level is fairly short, making them beatable by almost any player.
Please Note: This game requires quick reactions times, but allows players to try over and over again until they succeed. While later levels combine several types of challenges, such as avoiding obstacles plus dodging attacks plus reaching the key safely, no level lasts more than a few minutes so players can get a break in between each level if they need to.
