Description: Learn to tell the time, either in the modern way (digital), or the traditional way (quarter past, half past etc.).
Instructions: In the game you click a Question button and the time is spoken to you and shown on screen. You then have to set the hands to the correct time and you score points for getting it right. There are 3 levels of difficulty. In the first level the questions are only O'clock, quarter to/past and half past the hour. Level 2 adds 5, 10 past etc., questions and level 3 is the minutes in between. There is also a Practice level where you can set the hands to any time and hear the time spoken to you. Progress is rewarded with a certificate. How To Play Audio instructions are given on every screen just by clicking the Help button

Educator's Review: In this game players have to set a clock according to a given time. Players can choose the time to be presented as 12:45, or as "A quarter to twelve." There are 3 difficulty levels to choose from, which makes this game relevant for several ages and skill levels.
Please Note: There is no tutorial or introduction showing players how to play, and the screen is visually cluttered so some students will have a hard time figuring out where to focus and how to play the game. However, it is not a difficult game to play and once players have seen it once they will be able to continue playing on their own. It is a little awkward that time is set using several different arrows, rather than clicking and dragging the actual hands on the clocks, but players will soon get used to this once they start playing.
