Description: Sink the Multiplication Subs by launching your Math Charges. Just dial in the answer and launch away. Stay away from their mines if you want to get a high score. A fun way to practice / reinforce your multiplication skills.
Instructions: Use the mouse for movement and left click to launch the Math Charges. Change the depth by clicking on the arrows on the number dial or use the following keys: E - Tens place up, D - Tens place down, R - Ones place up, F - Ones place down. Sink the Multiplication Subs by having a Math Charge with the right answer explode near it.
Controls: d = tens place down; e = tens place up; f = ones place down; r = ones place up; fire = left_mouse; movement = mouse;

Educator's Review: Math Charge requires players to maintain focus in order to shoot down boats using correct answers to multiplication problems printed on the side of the boats. Set the answer and shoot the charge, if the answer is correct and you hit the boat with the charge you will sink the enemy boat and get points. You must be careful to avoid explosions, which will cause damage to your own ship. The game ends when your ship runs out of health, and the boats come faster and faster as you play longer and longer. Players must keep an eye on approaching enemy boats and set correct answers as fast as they can, remembering to get close enough to each boat to aim properly. The increasing pace of the game helps players improve fluency and speed of mental calculation as they play.
Please Note: Once the boats start coming, they don't stop. The better you play, the faster they come. For players who have to focus hard on paying attention to each boat, reading the numbers, or figuring out answers in their heads, this can get tiring. The game isn't broken up into levels, which would provide built in breaks. Not only aren't there breaks, the game gets faster the longer you play. Players who want time to think, or are still working on remembering the multiplication tables, may have a harder time with this game.
