Description: As an assistant to a notable painter, your task is to create the required colors by mixing the given colors, and you need to do so by using additive or subtractive methods. The additive method involves the mixing of light in which the colors are added up, for example, when red light and green light combine, the yellow light is produced. The subtractive method involves the mixing of paints in which some colors are selectively removed, for example, when yellow paint is mixed with cyan paint, the green paint is formed. In each question you will be shown a color, and you need to click the corresponding primary colors, then click the OK button that appears on the right of the screen. Your score is based on the time it takes to find the correct answer. Complete all 20 questions in a swiftly manner to win the praise of the master!

Educator's Review: Color Mixing asks players to create new colors by mixing some or all of the colors provided. There are two different types of challenges, either combining different colored lights to create the target color, or combining colored paints to create the target color. Players will be asked to use both primary and secondary colors during the game, and will get good practice combining and creating colors from both light and paint.
Please Note: There is no explanation for players how color theory works, and no hints as to why a particular combination might be wrong so players have to already have a basic understanding of color theory. Players only get one chance on each level, which means they cannot play around with the available colors to see what works.
